Your Body Doesn’t Give a Fuck About Your Code – Take Care of It

Yesterday, I went to a chiropractor. Again. Because my low back has been fucked up for years. Another visit, another “fix,” then back to the grind.

But this time, it hit differently.

New doctor, fresh perspective. And suddenly, amidst all the noise—**tech, coding, ML, content, side projects, social media, job market stress—**I realized something.

I spend so much time optimizing code, but when was the last time I actually optimized my own fucking body?

Your Body is on a Timer (And It’s Counting Down)

Look, I’m in my late 30s. And if I don’t start taking this shit seriously now, by the time I’m 50, it might be too late.

  • Your body starts degrading after 20. It’s the ugly truth.
  • By 50, you’re in ‘senior youth.’ If you don’t take care of yourself, good luck enjoying retirement.
  • By 65-75, mobility slows down. It’s not about if—it’s when.

If you don’t believe me, just look around. Ever seen a 75-year-old struggling to walk? That could be any of us.

And guess what? Tech won’t save your ass.
No AI model is coming to “refactor” your knees.

My Wake-Up Call: The Body is a Fucking System

Recently, I’ve been dealing with:

Muscle cramps (hello magnesium pills)
Knee pain (from standing all day)
Low back pain (from an old injury that never really healed)

And I thought: WTF? I’m not even 40 yet. If this is happening now, what’s waiting for me in 10-15 years?

I don’t want to be one of those people who gets weaker with age. I want to be stronger. More mobile. More in control.

Nobody Gives a Fuck About Your LeetCode Speed if You Can’t Move

Nobody cares if you can solve LeetCode hard in 10 minutes if you’re in constant pain just sitting or standing in front of your computer.

Nobody needs a weak version of you.

Your company won’t care.
Your job won’t care.
Your side projects won’t care.

If you don’t listen to your body now, you’ll regret it later.

What’s the Plan?

Here’s what I’m doing, and maybe you should too:

💪 Listen to my body. Pain = a warning sign.
👨‍⚕️ Visit different doctors. Compare opinions, analyze, and think critically.
🏋️ Stay active. If you don’t use it, you lose it. Period.
🧠 Use LLMs for health research. Why not? AI can’t replace doctors, but it can give you useful insights.
🥦 Fix my diet. Bad fuel = bad performance.
😴 Prioritize recovery. Sleep, stretching, and mobility work.

Take Care of Your Future Self

Think about it:

What kind of 50-year-old you do you want to be?
What about 75-year-old you?

You’re writing the code of your life right now.
Make sure it doesn’t crash in 20 years.

Take care of your body—it’s the only one you’ve got. 🚀
